ON28: John Rushing, Troy Baseball

It’s been a while since we’ve been to a baseball field, so we’re heading to Alabama to talk the Director of Operations for Troy University Baseball, John Rushing. A former coach at various levels, John brings a ton of baseball experience to Troy and has now completed his seventh season with the Trojans.

In this episode John talks about how not being good enough to play high school baseball moved him into other aspects of athletics, his efforts to get back into college, beginning his college career at age 38, starting in operations as a student at Troy, and the charge to make the ops position his own.
