I don’t often point to someone else’s work in this space, but this column is just too good to not pass along. I envision this being required reading for organizations from top to bottom. Nearly every single point in this column is worth considering, but two things made it jump out at me, as our two most recent guests on Top Coach mentioned these very subjects.
Just this week, Boston College’s Mike Gambino noted that there’s no need to approach him with a complaint unless you’re willing to offer a solution. And last week, UAB’s Brian Shoop talked about an attitude of gratitude.
This is some good stuff, folks. I’d suggest you print it and pass it out to the troops.
